Sweet Sixteen

My favorite sister (for the month) has turned 16 today! YAY! ;)

Vittoria Maria, or VM as we all call her, is really admirable because she always chose to do what made her happy and never just followed in the footsteps of anyone. While both Pat and I went to the same high school, she stayed put in St. Paul. Where Pat and I chose to channel most of our endeavors to writing and leadership, she joined the softball and street dance school clubs. Also, in fairness to her, she’s the only one among us who has been in a school play. Although her character died, I will never forget the proud faces of our parents as they took pictures and watched her die on that stage. HAHAHAHA. Of course I was laughing the whole time. Anyway, she enters college this year. I’m not a bit worried because I know she knows how to balance everything - academics, extra-curriculars, house chores (yes, she is the family mayor doma - Tuguegarao Chapter, Pat is for Manila Chapter). I am excited because I know she’ll be great, whichever school she decides to go to.

OKAY… so happy birthday VM!!!

The uncool sister

My third sister, VM, is on her last year in high school. She goes to St. Paul, a Catholic school, so naturally (?) the students have to go on a retreat before graduating. They went to Tagaytay, Laguna, and wherever-highschoolers-have-their-retreat-these-days. According to her, she cried. We thought it was lame. But she thought we were lamer. We practically forced her to come meet with us in MOA, and the whole time we were together, she was asking when she could leave.

Suddenly we’re the uncool sisters she doesn’t wanna be seen with.

Haha no, not really. I understand why she was rushing to leave. They had an hour and 30mins to buy whatever they wanted, and obviously, she wanted to buy clothes with her friends. She knows we’ll just whine and nag if we joined her.

So yeah, I’m still NOT the uncool sister.

ANYHOO, pictures.

My feet were sore from walking in heels, and VM was sweet enough to switch footwear with me. :)

So in this picture, where Pat looks really short, I’m actually tiptoeing. =))

Lastly, the grossest thing I have witnessed today. Tom & Jerry holding hands. Please don’t be deceived. In real life, they hate each other. :D
